Video Memory Montage: Over the years, we’ve
noticed ceremonies that were memorable and really stood out were the
ones that personalized their event and told a story of the member’s
career. Often, the stories would come in the form of a memory
montage. A memory montage is a combination of photos, video, music
and even voice-overs; telling a story, or creating a mood during the
ceremony or gathering. Often, the member’s family or duty section
will provide pictures and video to Documented Memories to create
a montages as part of the retirement gift.
Why use a montage? People often go to great
lengths to make their final days in the military as meaningful as
possible. Their retirement ceremony often endeavors to encapsulate
their careers while honoring military heritage. The montage may be
used in several ways: the most common way is to show a simple video
slide show as guests are arriving and again as they are departing.
However, montages may be sprinkled throughout the ceremony in
smaller segments to add meaning to different stages of the ritual.
Montages can cover a broad spectrum of areas including pre-military
life, basic training, various assignments, exercises, deployments,

ceremony, contact information, and anything else the member wants to
share. Additionally, if a memory montage is purchased, it
along with photos, can be placed on the site for distant friends and
relatives (worldwide) to enjoy.

moment - Invitations can be delivered via email.
Programs can be enjoyed anytime before and after the retirement.
Contact information and the ceremony, date, time and location are
available to everyone on you email invite list. The
